The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in providing clinical care to patients.
Responsibilities:
A day in the life of a Certified Medical Assistant with Care Station Medical Group includes:
- Prepares exam room, treatment room, supplies and instruments.
- Prepares patients for physician visit and examination assisting as directed.
- Takes patient’s vital signs and records in medical chart.
- Understands proper function and care of special equipment.
- Performs EKG, Spirometry and Audiometry.
- Also performs BAT, Drug Screening, Phlebotomy, wound care and other lab testing as indicated.
- Maintains records by completing patient records as directed.
- Uses computer software to maintain office systems.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Lifts a minimum of 15 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 15 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- High School diploma or equivalent such as a GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of computerized processes and data entry procedures
Licenses and Certifications Required:

Radiologic Technologist
Job description
Care Station Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical practice with offices located in Linden, Springfield, West Orange and Secaucus. Most offices are open every day from 8am to 10pm. We are looking to add dependable people to our staff. We have a busy, friendly working environment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
We are currently looking for a full time or part time licensed radiologic technologist. Full Time licensed X-Ray Technician.
Office locations: Linden, Springfield or West Orange
Shifts 7:30am – 3:30 pm or 3:15pm – 10:00pm with alternating weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Explains procedures and process to patients.
- Moves imaging equipment into the specified position; determines exposure factors on the basis of height, weight, the portion of the body involved, and the degree of penetration required; and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures including daily QC.
- Processes images and reviews them for proper identification and quality control.
- Prepares images for reading by the radiologist or requesting physician.
- Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Maintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imaging.
- Helping maintain a safe, healthy and professional work environment.
- Ability to learn light Medical Assistant duties such as performing vital signs, health history, and documenting results in EMR.
- Cross-Training opportunities in EKGs, Spirometry’s, Audiograms, Drug screen certification and Breath Alcohol Certification
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology. A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology preferred.
- Registered with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification)
- Good customer service skills
- Experienced in bone densities a plus.
- Salary: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour

We currently have a part time or per diem positions available, in our busy medical offices, for a registered diagnostic medical sonographer.
We are looking a candidate who is available to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) 7:45am – 5:00pm in our Springfield or West Orange office.
We perform a variety of ultrasound studies, general (small parts) echo, vascular. We require two years working experience.
Qualifications
- Must have current RVT (ARDMS) certifications, and/or RVS (CCI) certification
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- CPR certification required
- Maintain license, continuing education, and experience in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory agencies’ rules and regulations
- Familiarity with and ability to use specialized equipment
- Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, and other medical related skills/knowledge
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff and management
The above knowledge, skills and abilities may be demonstrated by successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program; state and federal licenses (as applicable), and appropriate registrations and/or certifications
- Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems
- This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, speaking, listening, and cognitive thinking
