- Tell us about your background as a PA: (education / experience / internship / residency / training).
I’m a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience, specializing in women’s health. I completed my PA training at CUNY York College and Pace University and later earned my Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) with a focus in PA education.
Throughout my career, I’ve cared for women at every stage of life, from adolescence through menopause, and beyond. My experience includes preventive care, reproductive and sexual health, and managing conditions such as PCOS and abnormal uterine bleeding. I also perform a wide range of in-office procedures.
- Why did you choose to become a physician assistant?
I chose the PA profession because of its versatility and the broad medical knowledge it offers. I value the autonomy it provides, along with the collaborative, team-based environment. I also appreciate the flexibility of the role, which allows for growth and adaptability throughout my career.
- Why did you choose to practice in an open access primary care practice?
I believe healthcare should be accessible and easy to navigate. Open access care allows patients to be seen when they need it, especially for concerns like hormonal changes and other women’s health needs.
- What unique skills do you possess?
My focus in women’s health is something I’m very passionate about, with a particular interest in menopause care. I enjoy helping patients navigate this stage of life and improving their quality of life through individualized care.
I also have strong procedural skills and a background in education, which helps me clearly explain conditions and treatment options so patients feel confident in their care.
- Describe your day to day work activities, priorities and tasks. What do you like best?
My day typically includes seeing patients for annual exams, menopause management, and other gynecologic concerns. I also review labs, perform procedures when needed, and create personalized care plans.
What I enjoy most is building relationships with my patients and helping them feel heard. I especially love helping women feel like themselves again and improving their overall quality of life.
- What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my patients and the impact I’ve had on their quality of life, especially in areas like menopause and sexual health. That passion led me to become a Menopause Certified Practitioner so I can continue to provide my patients with the most up-to-date, evidence-based care.
I’m also proud of my time in academia, where I trained and mentored future PAs, as well as my contributions to research and ongoing professional development.
- What are the key challenges of this field of medicine? How is it changing?
One of the biggest challenges in women’s health is that areas like menopause have historically been under-discussed and under-treated. Many patients come in feeling unheard.
The field is evolving in a positive way, with more awareness, better treatment options, and a stronger focus on personalized, patient-centered care.
- If you couldn’t be a physician assistant, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t a PA, I would probably be an entertainer, something like performing as a character on a Disney cruise or at an amusement park. I’ve always loved the idea of creating a space where people can step into a “bubble,” use their imagination, and just feel happy and carefree for a little while. That same feeling of helping people feel better and supported is something I try to bring into my work as a provider as well.
- What makes working at Care Station special?
Care Station stands out for its team-based approach and supportive work environment. It allows providers to collaborate, practice efficiently, and still take the time to build meaningful relationships with patients. It’s a place where you can truly focus on delivering high-quality care while feeling supported as a provider.
- Why should patients choose Care Station for their primary care?
Patients should choose Care Station for its convenience, accessibility, and quality of care. With flexible scheduling and a patient-centered approach, patients can receive timely care while still feeling heard, valued, and supported in their health journey.
- Tell us a little something about yourself.
I am an 80s kid!!! I was born and raised in New York and moved to New Jersey in 2021 with my husband and son to provide a better education system for him. I’m very family-oriented and truly value strong, meaningful relationships. I’m also a bit obsessed with cats, so don’t hesitate to talk about your pets or animals with me! Fun fact: I still talk to my best friend from 3rd grade every single day, which says a lot about how much I value connection and loyalty.
- How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time, I love spending time with my amazing husband and son, along with family and friends. I enjoy traveling, learning about new cultures, and trying new foods. I also love board games, playing sports, working out, and I never turn down a good nap. Most importantly, I love laughing and making memories with the people I love.
